Car Show (October)
October is a busy month with the Bumper to Bumper Car Show. This free event draws lots of classic cars and people that like them.
Trunk or Treat (October)
Halloween sees the annual trunk or Treat celebration on the Square where children can come to load up on sweets in a safe environment. For 2013, Trunk or Treat will be Wednesday, Oct. 30 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on the Square
Christmas Lights Display (December)
The Christmas lights display celebrates everything Christmas. The city is transformed into a magical wonderland of lights and sounds as the Square, Greenway Park and the Family Activities Center are focal points for the activity. Carriage rides and train rides are available on weekends. A full schedule of activities is available here
Charlestown State Park (Open All Year)
Charlestown State Park offers hiking trails, campsites, fishing, picnic grounds, and interpretive naturalist services. It hosts many events during the year. Check their web site for the latest schedule of activities.
